Amazed by the rescuing grace and steadfast loving-kindness of God, Al is passionate about adding value to people and processes to develop life-long followers of Jesus Christ. Al serves as Pastor of Discipleship & Outreach at Weaverland Church in East Earl, PA. He served for seven years as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Pequea (Gap, PA) and eleven years at Goshen Baptist Church as Pastor of Christian Education, Assimilation, and Small Groups and then as Pastor of Spiritual Formation.

A native of Lancaster County, Pa, Al grew up in Germany. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cairn University, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL). Al and Kim are parents of four adult children and have three grandchildren. Whether at the New Jersey shore, in Shenandoah County, Virginia, or Baja California Sur, Mexico he and Kim enjoy spending time together as a family.
