10:00-10:45 a.m., beginning on January 19
Adult classes are a key way that we follow Jesus together here in the Goshen family. Come join us as we study Scripture, build relationships, and grow to trust Him more. Feel free to visit any of our classes:
Family Foundations, FLC: What It Means to Live By Faith
Family Foundations is studying "What It Means to Live By Faith". We're digging into the doctrine of faith and answering questions like what should you have faith in God to do? What if God says no to your prayer? How much faith do you need?
This is a topic where there's a lot of confusion within the church and it can often lead to Christians becoming disillusioned in their walks with God as a result. Please join us as we dive into this study which combines both Theology and practical application with the goal of strengthening our relationship with God.

Fellowship Class, Room 106: Gospel of Mark.
Fellowship Class has started a study on the Gospel of Mark. Mark is the shortest of the Gospels. It is action packed and moves along at a fast pace. More time in Marks Gospel is devoted to stories about Jesus than to the teaching of Jesus, but the teaching is there. Mark presents a high view of Christ. Jesus is presented as the true "Son of God." Mark records much about Jesus' sufferings...about one third of this Gospel deals with the passion of Jesus. Mark also wanted his primarily Gentile Christian readers to be good servants of God, so he devoted much attention to Jesus teaching of the Twelve Apostles.

Home Builders Organization (HBO), Room 014: The Letter to the Colossians.
The HBO Sunday School class will continue the study of the letter to the church of Colossians. While in Ephesus, Paul ministered to Epaphras who in turn brought the gospel to the town of Colossae, 100 hundred miles to the east, and a church was formed. Over the next few years false teachers began to distort the gospel of Christ by blending in contrary teachings and practices. Paul writes the book to combat their false teachings. Knowing and understanding the book of Colossians will help us guard the pure gospel in our hearts and church.

Through the Bible, Fellowship Hall: Ephesians & Colossians
This winter we will be studying Ephesians and then Colossians. There is so much to learn from the Apostle Paul and we find his letters to be full of encouragement and warning. We are using a team approach when it comes to teaching. This provides us with a wide range of styles and understanding of Scripture. Each teacher takes his turn at leading the class.
Leaders: Team Taught by Jim Flye, Sean Ellsworth, David Nichols, Russ Nixon, Dan Steinfield
